Thank you for your interest in Stillwater, A Residential Treatment Facility. Stillwater is non-profit organization, licensed by NYS Office of Mental Health, and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations.

The funding for Stillwater’s programs, facility, and operations is obtained primarily from Medicaid reimbursements for the room and board of the children who live with us. There are, of course, many things that this funding does not cover. Updates and enhancements to our facility, playground and recreational equipment, new books for our library — many of the things that we know are necessary to enriching a child’s life.

Stillwater actively seeks grant funding to enhance its facilities and programs. Donations from individuals are essential to providing a better quality of life for our children. Everyday activities that are taken for granted by most children can make all the difference to the children living at Stillwater RTF - from participating in local softball leagues to attending community events.

Supporting our programs for these children and their families is a wonderful way to honor the memory of a loved one. In some cases, an individual may wish to remember us when planning their estate.
